BY DESIGN
Forgiveness comes down to where three things sit: the pressure point of the grip, the centerline of the riser and the cushion plunger. Set the rest plate in the high position and those distances come into balance, creating a neutral load path through the riser.
The bow becomes more tolerant of small variations in hand pressure and form.
Prefer a standard setup? The medium plate matches the rest position used on many recurve risers. Both plates ship with every riser.
