E1 Target Replacement Foam Pack [Quantity: 1 Pack]

This is replacement foam for the E1 Layered foam targets. Each pack contains 100 sheets that are 125x30. This is enough to fix approximately 1/4 of a target. Further discounts are available in bulk (20+). 

With the majority of target butts imported from overseas, the cost in Australia of foam targets has close to doubled in the last 10 years. As a result of this, many clubs have taken to either importing their own inferior targets or building their own out of corflute or neoprene scraps. However, the maintenance of these targets can take up a considerable amount of time and the waste product often leaves quite a mess. 

Many clubs throughout Europe have been using layered foam for years, but for some reason, we have been behind the times. The core benefit of these targets, aside from the price. Is that they are super easy to repair, simply unscrew the top of the target butt, remove the top layer and the damaged middle layer and then re-tighten. You can then do this again with the bottom layer to get the most use out of your target. This can increase the lifetime of the target by up to 3x over target butts made from high density foam, as although the cores can be replaced, the cost of doing so is quite expensive and the foam outside the core is still damaged.

"Cored" targets, also only have approximately 60% of the target itself used, before it's thrown out. As there is no way to utilize the outer foam in the corners and sides in the middle. With these targets, every bit of foam is usable. If the middle of a section is shot out, it can simly be cut in half and swapped around, so that the edges now become the middle!
