Background: Having only discovered Archery a little over a year ago at my club Centenary Archers Club in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane, Archery has provided me with some really amazing experiences like going to 2024 Australian Youth Nationals and many other tournaments around South East QLD. I have also made many new friends along the way.
Career Achievements: Only being new to the sport of Archery, my main career highlights so far are going to the 2024 Australian Youth Nationals, competing in as many SQAS Championship events.
My main recent highlight was finishing 2nd in QLD at the SQAS Indoor Championships and then 4th in Australia.
Favorite Discipline (3D/Field/FITA, etc): I really enjoy shooting outdoor (900/720 rounds) and also indoor.
What is your most memorable experience in archery? My second place in QLD and forth in Australia for Indoor and also travelling to Canberra for the 2024 Australian Youth Nationals. Had an awesome time and made lots of new friends along the way.
Best piece of advice for upcoming archers (Other than “shop at Eliza Archery”)?
When you first start, focus on your technique and not on your scores, they will come!
